Yeah, I just spent quite a bit of time working on the Other Denizens of the Castle page (http://www.hp-lexicon.org/hogwarts/hogwarts_denizens.html). I could just keep adding more and more to that page! I’m working through the Hogwarts section right now, since I started doing the student and staff pages. It’s taking awhile, but it’s fun work.

Yes, welcome back. Great to see that the Lexicon is live and well.
Good luck with finding help, I don’t know anybody but somewhere among the Lexicons users there must be someone.

THE LEXICON LIVES!!! Finally, an update after 5 months, I was beginning to lose hope. Great to see more in the Hogwarts section, but are you gonna get around to TBB anytime soon?
BTW, I’d love to help edit the Lexicon, I dearly love it as a resource and would be honored to contribute. I’m not tech-savvy in the slightest, though, so I can only do the writing/editing.

I thought that I’ll never going to see new updates! I was wondering about the Marauders Map page, I hope that will be done soon, for now we have ground floor…
Oh, there is so much work to do…
I hope that you’ll find someone to help you.Of course, you know that you always cancount on me, I’ll do everything to help you and probably the rest of guys from commenting board…
Many HP sites going down, but this one won’t!
Interesting site, but much advertisments on him. Shall read as subscription, rss.

Sorry RichardOn but I don’t agree! All ”advertisments” on this site are HP related and they are pointing to new readers on sources of informations here - JK’s books. . .and of course Steve’s books. . .
I think the Lexicon’s advertising is far less intrusive and overbearing than that on some other Harry Potter sites. That was a decision I made because the Lexicon is used by many schools. The site has received excellent reviews from educational publications which have mentioned the minimal advertising as a plus for a site used by kids. You can use an RSS reader to follow this What’s New blog, but you will miss pretty much everything that makes the Lexicon what it is … the vast treasure trove of Harry Potter information.

Guidelines and instructions for anyone who wants to help with editing are being written. In fact, only one bit is still being edited and I was hoping it would be ready on Monday, but it still isn’t — sorry about the delay. As I noted, if you want to help out please email me separately (steve.lexicon@gmail.com) so I can put you on the list.

I was just wondering why the “Canon Portkey” outline for the books is incomplete. I was hoping that by now it would be. Otherwise this is a great, terrific, wonderful site!! I LOVE IT.
The Canon Portkey outlines are complete. The Portkey itself isn’t working properly and hasn’t been since we moved our website onto new servers some time ago. I am keenly aware of the problems, but I have no one on staff right now to do database work, so I’m stuck. I’m so sorry.

While it is always worth dropping in on the Lexicon, it is even better if there is something new - and there are lots of incomplete sections still.
