Hagrid's Cabin
references:
Hagrid lived in a small wooden house
on the edge of the
forbidden forest. A crossbow
and a pair of galoshes were outside the front door...There was only one room
inside. Hams and pheasants were hanging from the ceiling, a copper kettle was
boiling on the open fire, and in the corner stood a massive bed with a
patchwork quilt over it
(PS8).
Hagrid was sitting in an armchair
outside his house; his trousers and sleeves were rolled up, and he was
shelling peas into a large bowl
(PS16).
Harry and
Hermione supported
Ron over the threshold into the
one-roomed cabin, which had an enormous bed in one corner,
a fire crackling merrily in the other
(CS7).
All four of them stared at the window beside the doorway. The shadow of
somebody small and squat rippled across the thin curtain
(OP20).

Hagrid's cabin comprised a
single room, in one corner of which was an gigantic bed covered in a
patchwork quilt. A similarly enormous wooden table and chairs stood in
front of the fire beneath the quantity of cured hams and dead birds
hanging from the ceiling...Hagrid
got up, went across the room to the chest of drawers beside his bed, and
began searching for something inside it
(GF16).
